Margaret Marie Lloyd

Margaret Marie Lloyd, age 81, of Crossett, Ark. passed away on December 3, 2012. She was born on September 6, 1931 in Crossett, Ark. to her parents, Marshall L. and Alice Belle Fleming Barnett. Marie retired from Georgia Pacific after many years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother and an avid gardener. Marie was a member of South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Quentin Lloyd; and two sisters, Imogine Marcile Barnett and Willie Bell Palmer. Survivors include one son Mike Lloyd (Julie) of Texarkana, Ark.; one daughter, Jackie Sivils (Richard) of Crossett, Ark.; one sister, Yvonne Kirkland of Marietta, Ga.; six grandchildren, Sarah Taunton (Richie) of Crossett, Ark., Rebekah James (Josh) of Benton, Ark., Brandon Lloyd, Jason Lloyd, Lindsey Lloyd, Christopher Lloyd, all of Texarkana, Ark.; and three great-grandchildren, Lainey Taunton, Landon Taunton, and Aaron Dean James. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012 at South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Don Justice and Bro. Donnie DuBose officiating. Interment will follow at Unity Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com). Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
