Tommie Ray Davis, 92, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Bella Vista. He was a retired carpenter, a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, serving aboard a 5 star ship, The USS White Plains and a Quaker. He was born August 5, 1920 in Mulberry, Ark. to the late William A. and Effie Inez (Shook) Davis and preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Durden Davis and a daughter, Jackie Effie Davis.

Survivors include three daughters, Tami Thurman of Rogers, Ark., Linda Husby of Washington and Shirley Madsen of California; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in New Cemetery with military honors. The family will visit with friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, Ark. Pallbearers will be Donnie Renfro, Mark Thurman, II, Thel Renfro, Jr., Bill Weatheral, Kerry Satterfield and Keith Satterfield. To place an online tribute please visit
