Aaron Wayne "Sonny" Stark

Aaron Wayne "Sonny" Stark, age 84, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012, in Little Rock. Born in Heber Springs on November 24, 1928, he was the son of the late Wayne and Thelma Barnett Stark. Mr. Stark was a retired teacher and a member of Union Valley Baptist Church in Beebe. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerry Stark; and an infant sister, Betty Jane Stark. Mr. Stark is survived by his wife, Flora Stark of Ward; one son, Terry Wayne Stark of Ward; one daughter, Debbie Shackelford and husband, Steve, of Beebe; one brother, Jim "Gypsy" Stark; six grandchildren, Stephanie Courtney and husband, Paul, Jonathan Stark, Ashley Alexander and husband, Joshua, Doug Coltrane and wife, Kristy, Aaron Coltrane, Anne Harris and husband, Levi; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Heber Springs. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Olmstead Chapel.
