Autreana Marie Battles

Autreana Marie Battles, 55, of Sherwood, Ark. passed away on December 10, 2012. She was born August 5, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois to Autry and Helen Battles. Autreana obtained her BA in both early childhood education and in primary K-6 from UALR. She has taught for 26 plus years, the last 25 years with the North Little Rock School District at Boone Park Elementary. Ms. Battles was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother. She is survived by one brother, Carvette Battles (Rudell) of North Little Rock, Ark.; sisters, Dr. Lourie Battles, MD of Sherwood, Ark., Valescia Starks of North Little Rock, Ark., Tyrescia Ealy of Sherwood, Ark., Zandria Hall (Dwight) of Sherwood, Ark.; two uncles, Vernon (Sandra) Johnson and Maurice (Ruthie) Johnson both of North Little Rock, Ark., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving family and friends. A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, December 15, 2012, 12 noon, at Full Counsel, NLR. Interment will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, NLR.
