Hubert S.f Puckett, Jr.

Hubert S. Puckett, Jr. (84) went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2012. He was born March 27, 1928, in Rose City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Icie and Hubert S. Puckett, Sr., a sister, Lorraine Goss, and his wife, the love of his life, Margaret Moore Puckett. He is survived by a sister, Patricia Ferguson (Randy), and a brother, Jim Puckett (Ruth). Mr. Puckett had three children: David Larry Puckett (Jane), Brenda G. Beck, and Alan Cary Puckett (Paige). He had four grandchildren: Darby McCormack, Ashley Paladino, Brian Beck, and Lauren Puckett along with six great-grandchildren; David, Zachary, and Sam Paladino, Alexa, Isabella and Sophia McCormack. He was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church since 1970. He taught a men's bible study and was a deacon. Hubert was employed as an agent, broker and a registered rep (Principal) and Independent Insurance Agent for over 54 years. He was awarded with many honors such as the Great Southern Life Hall of Fame, 40 plus year member of MDRT, and National Sales Achievement Award. He enjoyed living with his daughter for the last six years. We will remember his humor, caring spirit, and generous heart. His service will be held on Friday, December 14 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at 10 a.m. at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, I-30, Little Rock.
