Jho Anne Petty

Jho Anne Petty, 82, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Pleasant Valley Living Center. She was born April 20, 1930, in Pine Bluff to Stewart M. and Addie L. Mitchell Meeks. Mrs. Petty was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts and reading. She was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church, White Sulphur Chapter #583, Order of the Eastern Star and Providence Home Extension Chapter. Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Dr. Welton Meeks and a sister, Thelma Thomas. Survivors include her sons, Leon D. "Skeeter" Petty of White Bluff, Tennessee, Danny G. Petty of Little Rock; a daughter, Nancy Taylor of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 5 to 7 p.m. at Robinson's. Services will be 10 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2012, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Willis Findley officiating.
