Jimmy Dale Swink, Jr.

Jimmy Dale Swink, Jr. went to Heaven to be with God December 15, 2012. He was born in Kennett, Mo., March 5, 1963, and moved to Little Rock with his family in 1965. He attended Robinson Elementary, and then went on to graduate from Pulaski Academy in 1981. At PA, he was President of his Senior Class, played center on the school football team, the Bruins. He acted in school productions, and played guitar in the band he formed with his friends. He grew up on a horse farm and showed horses around the country with his family. After graduation, he attended the University of Arkansas and University of Central Arkansas before joining the family business. He went on to form his own financial consulting firm.
Jimmy was an avid hunter and fisherman, and thrived on the outdoor life, which he shared with his closest friends and family.
Jimmy leaves behind his parents, June and Jim Swink, Sr.; two children, June Starre Haas (Jordan) and Jimmy Dale Swink, III, and two grandchildren, Elijah James Swink and Ella Nona Haas, all of Little Rock. He also leaves his siblings Lea Anne Swink of Little Rock, Nona Kim Spencer (Chris) of New York City, Kerri June Elder (Chris) of Springdale, and Brian Neal Swink of Fayetteville, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He is beloved and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark., (501) 224-8300.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at 11 a.m., at First Christian Church, 1500 Mississippi Avenue, Little Rock, Ark., followed by graveside services at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle, Ark.
