Martha Day Trusler

Martha Day Trusler, 86, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at her residence. She was a native of De Valls Bluff, Ark. and the daughter of the late Clarence C. Day and Hortia Moss Day. She was a member of Marion United Methodist Church in Marion, Ark. Martha was a registered nurse and the former head of Infection Control for the Methodist Hospital System before moving to the Johnson City area approximately four years ago. She is survived by her husband of 64 years: Jack E. Trusler; sisters: Lucille Tyson, and Mary Ingram, both from Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; special family friends: Dr. and Mrs. W. Shannon McCool of Johnson City. She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. A Celebration of Life Service for Martha Day Trusler will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services with Dr. Michael S. Lacy officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour. A Committal and Internment service will follow in Washington County Memory Gardens.
