Tony T. Wilson, 65, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 surrounded by loving family at the Baptist Health System in Little Rock, Arkansas after a brief and courageous battle with lung cancer. Tony was born April 22, 1947 in Magnolia to the late Harvey and Eva Graves Wilson and predeceased in death by a brother Boise Dean Wilson. He was Columbia County Tax Assessor for 18 years, had retired from Key Energy Services and was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. He loved fishing, his Arkansas Razorbacks and his beloved dog, Lindy. Tony is survived by his wife, Paulette Wilson of Magnolia, step-daughters Jennifer Smith and husband Rusty of White Hall, Jamie Boyd and husband Mike of Magnolia, and Marian Edwards and husband Robert of Magnolia, his in laws Paul and Beth Whitley of Magnolia and Byron and Marylynn Whitley of Haynesville, Louisiana, five grandchildren and a dear friend, John Roewe of Spokane, Washington. The family would like to thank Baptist Health Systems CCU doctors and nurses for the attention, compassion, and concern they showed Tony during his brief stay. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 23 at Western Cemetery with Rev. Mike Daniel officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
