Charlotte Trahin Bogard

Charlotte Trahin Bogard, one of Greers Ferry's earthbound angels, followed in her father's footsteps to the Lord Friday after a truculent battle with cancer. As an active member of the volunteer EMS and fire services, Mrs. Bogard touched many lives and was a true blessing to the community. Her infallible drive to help others will not be forgotten, and she will be remembered best as a loving servant to humankind. She is survived by her mother, Leah Trahin; her husband, Gary Bogard and daughters, Rebecca Robnett Sandoval, Leah Harper and Helen Dunkerson as well as many grandchildren. She was preceded in death only by her father, Major General Jean Henry Trahin. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Church at Brownsville.
