James Edward Stinnett

James Edward Stinnett, 72, of Cabot died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012. He was born Sept. 25, 1940 in Chapel Hill, Tenn. to the late Herman and Maude Gully Stinnett. Mr. Stinnett was married to the late Ernestine Shelton Stinnett for nearly 40 years. Mr. Stinnett is survived by two brothers, Junior Stinnett of Chapel Hill, Tenn. and Harold Stinnett of Blountsville, Ala.; six sisters, Mary Bowling of Shelbyville, Tenn., Maudie Brannon of Laverne, Tenn., Jan Locke of Chapel Hill, Tenn., Krist Dalton, Frankie Plant and Polly Jo Crabtree, all of Lewisburg, Tenn. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 with funeral services following at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Dan Reed officiating.
