Joyce Saline Block

Mrs. Joyce Block, 68 of Wilmot, Ark., died Friday, December 21. She was a lifelong resident of Wilmot, a social worker for the AR Dept. of Human Services, and a member of John Wesley A.M.E. Zion. Mrs. Block served on the Hamburg School Board six years, was an Alderman for the City of Wilmot, and served on the Chicot County Single Parent Scholarship Board. Survivors include: her husband of 38 years, Michael "Boo" Block,sons: Jessie Block, wife Tara, Baton Rouge, La., Edward Block, wife Adrian, Lowell, AR,daughters: Darlene Todd, husband Danny, Greenville, Ala., Rosia Block, Maumelle, Ark., Mable Block, Wilmot, Ark., step-sons: Brian Parker, Mesquite, Texas, Kenneth Block, Los Angeles, Calif., Michael Block, Little Rock, Ark., step-daughters: Cassandra Wade, husband Richard, Little Rock, Ark., Rosalind Lewis, husband Anthony, Allen, Texas, Kadran Block, Conway, Ark., brothers: John H. Walker, Wilmot, Ark., Dannie Edwards, wife Rosetta, Chicago, Ill., Kenneth Stevenson, wife Joyce, Conyers, Ga.,sisters, Tina Bell Gaston, Lake Village, Ark., Hazel Edwards, Wilmot, Ark. & Mary Butler, husband Samuel, Wilmot, Ark., and 25 grandchildren.
