Benny Hallous Terry. 73, of Wooster, Arkansas, passed away on February 1, 2012. Born on October 24, 1938, in Naylor, Arkansas, he was a son of the late B.C. "Buster" Terry and Kate Nolen Terry. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Fred Terry, J.T. Tern7, and Cleon Terry. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Salter Terry, of Wooster; his daughter, Kelly Terry, of Little Rock; his son and daughter-in-law David and Devin Terry, of Wooster; his twin grandsons, Greyson and Reese Terry, of Wooster; his aunt, Bea Terry, of Little Rock; and his sisters-in-law, Burnell Terry and Margie Terry, of Conway. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. After graduating from Mt. Vernon High School in 1956, Mr. Terry joined the United States Air Force. Upon completing his military service, which included a tour of duty in Panama, he began working as a meteorological technician for the National Weather Service in North Little Rock. He worked for the National Weather Service for over 40 years, including several special assignments forecasting hurricanes that threatened the Gulf Coast region. He retired from the National Weather Service to become a gentleman farmer in Wooster, where he also happily served as the community weatherman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wooster. Among his favorite pastimes were showing his award-winning '65 Mustang with his friends in the Vilonia Cruisers Car Club, working on his land, joining his friends for afternoon coffee at the Wooster Grocery, and spending time with his family, especially his grandsons Greyson and Reese, who were the apples of his eye. Services will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Wooster, with Bro. Matt Pryor and Bro. Phillip Drennan officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, with Josh Berry, Tyler Berry, Gene Salter, Tony Salter, Newton Skiles, and Derb Stone, serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Greyson Terry, Reese Terry, Donald Leslie, Bob Berry, Carla Gene Garrett, Vernon Salter, Jimmy Manning, George Martin, Dave Davenport, George Wilkens, Ed Pasierb, Bernie Roberts, J.C.
