Olen C. Sheets

Olen C. Sheets, 86 of Van Buren, formerly of Hot Springs, died Monday, February 6, 2012, at a local nursing home. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs, Ark. He was an ordained Elder and had served as a deacon. He was a graduate of Henderson State Teachers College with a B.S. degree. He retired as a special agent for United States Fidelity and Guaranty Insurance Company after thirty years of service. He is survived by his wife of almost 58 years, Bobbie Jane Hunter Sheets; a daughter, Victoria Kilgore and her husband, Ken of Van Buren; a son, James Sheets and his wife, Jackie of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Megan Johnson and her husband, Matthew of Little Rock, Hunter Park of Fayetteville, and Sarah Sheets of Little Rock. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at Roller Chenal Parkway in Little Rock on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Funeral will be Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Roller Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock burial will follow at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Little Rock, Arkansas.
