Bobbie Rushing, 61, of Hot Springs, died Feb. 23, 2012. She was born July 26, 1950, in Humnoke, Ark., to Catheryn Loftis Rogers and the late Truman Loftis. Bobbie served as a role model and mentor for many. She will most be remembered through her passion for family, friends, and career. Always looking out for others, she brought out the best in them. Her belief in hard work was evident by the success in all facets of her life. Bobbie enjoyed entertaining her family and friends, she was happiest when planning her next party. Obtaining her real estate license in 1981, she was very successful, earning sales awards year after year. With her background in design, she showed clients the potential of each property. Bobbie will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Bobbie is preceded in death by her father; brother, Eddie Loftis and nephew David Loftis. Survivors include her mother; loving husband of 29 years, Phillip Rushing; sons, Kent Dover and Bryson Dover, both of Hot Springs, Phil Rushing and wife, Wendy of Springdale, Ark.; daughter Niki Rushing-Gray of Sherwood, Ark.; brothers Donnie Loftis and wife, Vickie of England, Ark. and Steve Loftis of Alexander, Ark.; sister Billie Gibbins and husband, Jimmy of Searcy, Ark.; grandchildren, Wheatley Gray, Maggie Rushing and Joseph Rushing. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Artie Brown and Don Patton officiating.
