Thomas "T.J." Farley, 66, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, January 2, 2012. He was born Nov. 18, 1945 in Secaucus, NJ to the late Peter & Charlotte Farley. He graduated from Weehawken High School, was a Vietnam Veteran in the U.S. Air Force, and graduated from the FBI National Academy, Quantico, VA. T. J. retired from the North Little Rock Police Department and also retired from the Arkansas Department of Human Services. He was a member of the Lakewood United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Farley, of North Little Rock; daughter, Laurie Ann Dastugue and husband, Dane, of Key West, Florida; son, Guy Alexander Freeling III and wife, Debbie, of Russellville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Farley, of New Jersey and his cat, "Sweet Baboo". He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Pete Farley and granddaughter, Jana Nicole Denker. Memorials may be made to Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1922 Topf Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116 or Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Friday at Lakewood United Methodist Church. Interment will be at a later date in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
