Kelle Gwen Ray

Mrs. Kelle Gwen Phillips Ray, age 47, of Alexander, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 3, 2011. at her residence. Mrs. Ray was born February 18, 1964, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a 1982 graduate of Arkansas High School in Texarkana and a 1987 graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, was a longtime pharmaceutical representative, and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Phillips. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Steven Ray of Alexander, Arkansas, one son, Parker Davis Ray of Alexander, Arkansas, one daughter, Cassaday Ray of Alexander, Arkansas, her mother, Jo Gwen Phillips of Texarkana, Arkansas, one brother, J. D. Phillips of Texarkana, Arkansas, aunts and uncles, E.C. and Jane Davenport of Texarkana, Arkansas and Dr. Pat and Annette Phillips of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, one special cousin, Dara Mauldin of Texarkana, Arkansas, and a number of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Rondo Memorial Park with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. The family will be at the home in Rondo. Memorials may be made to: Serenity Park for Women, 2801 W.
