Mary Shaw Goode

Mary Shaw Goode, 98, of Little Rock, passed away January 5, 2012. She was born July 16, 1913, in Holland, Arkansas, to the late Tom and Amanda (Hardin) Shaw. Mrs. Goode was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church, Holland, Arkansas. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Nolton B. Goode; sisters, Jeffie James, Nona Fulmer, Florence Patrick and Johnnie Newberry; and brothers, Lumas Shaw and Tom Shaw. Mrs. Goode is survived by one daughter, Janice Smith (Curtis); grandchildren, Mitzi Moore (Monte) and Shawn Smith (Julie); great-grandchildren, Hunter and Holton Moore, all of Little Rock; and a sister, Reba Stevenson of Conway. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2012, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, in Conway. Mrs. Goode's funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the Oakland United Methodist Church, in Holland. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Holland, Arkansas.
