Everett C. Case

Everett C. Case, 64, of Russell, died Thursday January 5, 2012 in Little Rock. He was born July 23, 1947 to the late Gene and Ava Johnson Case in Lepanto, Ark. Everett was a member of the Baptist Church, he loved his family and the outdoors, he was an avid civil war memorabilia collector and he enjoyed driving his tractor. Survivors include his wife Betty Case; son, Brandon Case of Russell; daughter, Robin (Marcus) Thomason of Russell; sisters, Lawana (Mike) Johnston of Bald Knob and Gladys (Johnny) Franklin of Marked Tree; brothers, Travis (Pat) Case and Jerry Case both of Bald Knob; six grandchildren, Morgan (Tanner) Jaco, Katelyn Thomason, Erin Thomason, Faith Case, Rylee Case, and Connor Case all of Russell; one great-grandchild, Landree Thomason and a brother-in-law, Joe Womack of Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Saturday 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be Sunday, 12 noon, Powell Funeral Home-Bald Knob. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery.
