Lotherene Dale Massingill

Lotherene Dale Reynolds Massingill, age 88, of Hattieville, passed away January 5, 2012 after her courageous 15 year battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, E.M. Massingill. She was also a member of Old Hickory Baptist Church for 71 years. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Gwen Massingill of Morrilton, daughters and sons-in-law Loeva and Bill Mullinax of Little Rock and Annette and Benny Williams of Old Hickory. Grandsons include Billy Mullinax and wife Laura of Little Rock, Jaymy Williams of Old Hickory, Bart Williams and wife Rachel of Hattieville. Granddaughters include Kristy Warner of Bryant and Melinda South and husband Baron of Fayetteville. Great-grandsons include Trey Warner of Little Rock, Reed Mullinax of Little Rock, Trace, Rhett, and Eli South of Fayetteville, and Joseph Williams of Old Hickory. Great-granddaughters include Stephanie Warner of Little Rock and Madison and Gracie Williams of Old Hickory. Four special adopted Great-grandchildren include Sheyenne, Devin, Maddie, and Jacie Jones of Old Hickory. Great-great-grandsons include Clay Reavis and Beau Warner of Little Rock. Great-great granddaughter is Payton Reavis of Little Rock. She is also survived by a brother, William H. Reynolds and wife Jane of Conway, a sister, Dortha Arnold and husband Bill of Jonesboro, and a sister, Martha Mierendorf of Houston. A special thanks to Dr. Thomas Sneed and nurses of Arkansas Oncology Clinic and Arkansas Hospice. A special thanks to Nurse Charlie and Caregiver Neanette. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Old Hickory Baptist Church with Bro. Ken Gipson and Bro. Sonny Harrvison officiating. Burial will be at Old Hickory Cemetery.
