Cecil E. Brannon Sr.

Cecil E. Brannon Sr., 57, of Jacksonville, Ark., departed peacefully on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 27 years of service. He's preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Glasper and two brothers. His survivors include: spouse, Merrill D. Brannon; children, Cecil Jr., Christopher Brannon, Comeca, Calary Brannon, Michael Jordan, Carey Bruce, Rodney and Brian Doss; father, Eugene Brannon; 13 grandchildren; one great-grand; seven brothers; three sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. Home going services will be on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, 11 a.m., at Miles Memorial CME, 1804 E. Capitol, Little Rock. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark. Family visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester Street, Little Rock, 501-372-1305.
