Leroy Foster

Leroy Foster, 87, born in Vilonia, Ark., passed away Dec. 24, 2011 at his home in Mojave, Calif. He was a graduate of North Little Rock High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. Lee and his family lived in Texas and later moved to California in 1973. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. Lee is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doreene Barnhill Foster of Grandbury, Texas; four children; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Marolyn Beall of Little Rock, Ark.; nieces, Francis Wasson of Mabelvale, Ark., Patricia Vines and Allene Sorensen of Conway, Ark. Services were held at the Church of Christ in Rosamond, Calif. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011.
