Mildred Leona (Ball) Alphin

MILDRED LEONA ALPHIN, 90, of Sherwood, formerly of Walnut Ridge, passed away Friday. Survivors include her husband, Bartes Alphin; four sons: Dewain Alphin, Nathan Alphin, Jerry Alphin, Mark Alphin; six daughters: Wilma Grimes, and Vounda Everett, Diana Newcom, Claraetta Moody, Marietta Alphin, and Betty Christman; 25 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside will be Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Manning No. 2 Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12-1:30 p.m. in the Bryan Chapel. Online registry at www.bryanfh.com.
