Rainey Elizabeth Nortier

Mrs. Rainey Elizabeth Nortier, age 82, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and formerly of Almont Michigan and Little Rock Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 10, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dr. Peter Nortier; their sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Jo Nortier of Louisiana and Stephen Nortier of Grand Rapids; their granddaughter, Lauren; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Darlene Motley; sisters-in-law, Martina Heyboer, Peggy Saunders and Margaret Nortier; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 11 a.m. at LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home-Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE and on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
