Zeulen Coil ault

Zeulen Coil Ault, age 84, of Lonsdale, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012. He was born on March 9, 1927 at Cedar Glades, the son of Efridge Eli Ault and Pearl Bell Merriott Ault. On January 9, 1949, he was married to Norma Jean Nichols, who preceded him in death on August 4, 1998. He was also preceded in death by two brothers; seven sisters; and one grandson, Wilburn Joey Smith. Zeulen was a member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church and the Garland County Cattleman's Association. He worked for 27 years at Wilson's Food. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and on his farm in Lonsdale cutting hay and tending his cattle. Zeulen would greet people with his big smile and warm handshake that would seem to make the troubles in life small. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Lane and Janet Ault of Neosho, Missouri, Alan and Susan Ault of Lonsdale, and Lawrence and Tracie Ault of Lonsdale; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Burks of Lonsdale, Connie and Frank Pfenenger of Hot Springs, Peggy and Joe Smith of Hot Springs, and Georgia Ault of Lonsdale; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; one brother, Lee Ault of Buckville; numerous nieces, nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2012 in the Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Albert Houpt, Bro. Frank Pfenenger, and Bro. Chris Floyd officiating. Interment will be in the Newkirk Cemetery at Jessieville under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday evening.
