Margaret Ruth Sweeney

Margaret Ruth Hinesley Sweeney of Mountain View died Jan. 12, 2012. Margaret was born Nov. 10, 1930 in Searcy, Ark. to Azra L. and Floy Goodwin Hinesley. She grew up in the Rushing community, where she attended school through the 11th grade. She graduated from Kokomo High School in Howard County, Ind. in 1949. She married John P. Sweeney Sr. of Kokomo. She professed to being a Christian throughout her life. She was a 26-year employee of Blanchard Shirt Company. Margaret is survived by John Sweeney Jr. of Mountain View, Michael Sweeney of Shirley, Margaret King of Quitman, Timothy Sweeney of Mountain View, Henry Sweeney of Conway, Erin Sweeney of Onia, Mary Hartman of Fairfield Bay, Patricia Caston of Mountain View; one sister, Vilma Doris Amos of Cabool, Mo., 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sweeney Sr., her parents and one sister, Wilma Dora Curry. Graveside service was Jan. 14, 2012 at Flatwoods Cemetery, Mountain View, Ark.
