Mattie Emma Martin Busick

Mattie Emma Martin Busick, age 96, of Beebe, Ark. died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, currently serving at Beebe United Methodist. Mattie is survived by a daughter, Bobbye K. Griffin and husband, J.C. of Austin; a son, Charles Busick and wife, Carolyn of Searcy; six grandchildren, Nancy Marsh, Brenda McDaniel, Larry Busick, Connie Boullie, Patricia Busick, and Karen Cathey; seven great-grandchildren; and a niece, Marianne Bennett of Conway. She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Claude Busick and parents, Otha and Bertha (McCulloch) Martin. Family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16 at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe with funeral services to follow at 11, burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Beebe. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com.
