Vance Edward "Pig" Dotson, 44, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went home to be with his heavenly father on January 14, 2012. Born January 3, 1968 to the late Floyd Dotson Jr. and Feuther Mae Dotson. A wonderful son, brother and father, who truly loved his family and friends. He had a passion for many things in life but the things he loved the most was singing for the Lord, helping kids that were less fortunate or troubled and cooking his yams and rice pudding. He was employed by the North Little Rock School District and Job Corp for many years. He also was a former employee of the Arkansas Department of Correction for 5 years. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Dotson Jr. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughters Tiffany Key and Derrika Dotson, his loving mother Feuther Mae Dotson, five brothers Randy (Michelle), Jerry (Zandra), Lamont (Marie) Dotson all of North Little Rock, Floyd (Catina) Dotson III and Charles Thomas of Little Rock; one sister, Vicki Ann (William) Hattison of Lewisville, Texas, fiancee Kristal Reschke, daughter, Tori of North Little Rock and his nephews and niecs. Visitation Friday, January 20th, 6-8 p.m., Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 850 Atkinson North Little Rock.
