Vesta Irene Scott Campbell Knopp O'Neal

Vesta Irene Scott Campbell Knopp O'Neal, age 94, of Scotland, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Ozark Health Nursing Center in Clinton. She was born June 17, 1917, in Garfield, Missouri, a daughter of Arthur Scott and Virgle Brewer Scott. She worked at Levi Strauss in Morrilton, and Independent Living Services in Conway as a Housemother, and was a member of Scotland Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Sue C. Brents of Scotland; daughter-in-law, Lynn Campbell of Conway; three grandsons, Jason (Lisa) Campbell of Conway, Jared Campbell of Conway, and Kelvin (Katie) Brents of Roswell, Georgia; granddaughter, Carla (Roy) Kirkland of Collierville, Tennessee; great-granddaughters, Kristen (Denver) Moore, Hannah Brents and Tajah Kirkland; great-grandsons, Ryan Brents, Stefan Kirkland and Chris Kirkland; great-great-granddaughters, Carly Campbell and Mackenzie Moore; nephews, Charles (Ramona) Scott of Greenbrier, and James (Barbara) Bradley of Rose Bud; niece, Mary Jo (Farris) Whaley of North Little Rock; step-sons, Jackie (Linda) Knopp, Jimmy (Carolyn) Knopp, Chuck O'Neal, and Paul O'Neal. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Campbell; great-grandson, Timothy James Brents; and three husbands, Odis Campbell, Arduth Knopp, and Lee O'Neal. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the Scotland Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Deckleman officiating. Burial will be at Foster Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at 9 a.m. at the church.
