Marie Foster

Marie Foster, 80, of Austin, Arkansas, was born May 15, 1931 at Cotton Plant, Arkansas, to Robert and Ola (Cross) Hambrick, and she died Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She was a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in El Paso, Arkansas, and the Cabot Chapter #508, Order of the Eastern Star. Marie is survived by three children, John Foster (Becky), Debbie Coburn and Jill Howard (Larry), all of Austin; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; sisters, Martha Sue Oliver of Beebe, Louise Dobson of Fargo, Arkansas; and brother, Bobby Hambrick of North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Foster Sr.; a son, Robert Joseph Foster; a daughter, Bennett Holland; her parents; and a son-in-law, Hershal Coburn Sr.; and brothers, Jay, Frank and Carl Hambrick. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
