Gary Wayne Weast

Gary Wayne Weast, 42, of Star City, died Friday at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa, Okla. He was born March 2, 1969 in Pine Bluff. He attended First Assembly of God Church in Star City. He was a graduate of Star City High School and worked as a loader operator at Weast Property. Survivors include his wife, Shannon Frizzell Weast; mother and stepfather, Kay and James Jarrell; father and stepmother, Jerry and Kathy Weast; daughter, Brittney Weast; two brothers, Starsky Weast, Hutch Weast; sister, Kristie Jarrell; three nieces, Emalee Collins, Chandler Weast, Lilly Weast; and one nephew, Dallas Collins, all of Star City. Preceding him in death was a nephew, Sayler Todd Weast. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Star City. Bro. Kenny Martin officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery near Star City. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Pallbearers will be Winfred Ashcraft, Lee Maynard, J.D.
