Henriette (Yetti) Zilvinskis

HENRIETTE (YETTY) ZILVINSKIS, 96, died June 28, 2012, in her home where she lived with two of her daughters for the last 9 years. Her final days were spent at home surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her very memorable life. Previously she had lived in Little Rock, Ark. for more than 40 years. She was born in the city of Utrecht, The Netherlands in 1916. She met her future husband, Joseph Zilvinskis, during World War II while serving as an officer with the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration. After they were married they lived in South America while waiting to immigrate to the United States where they settled in Arkansas in 1963. Her interests included ballroom dancing, gardening and reading. A Catholic, she will be buried from Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death in 1980 by her husband of 35 years, Joseph Zilvinskis. Mrs. Zilvinskis is survived by her five children, Marie Antoinette Zilvinskis, Maria Therese Bell Sr., Janina Zilvinskis, Daughter of Charity, Helen Gloria Zilvinskis, Joseph Henri Zilvinskis; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Christ the King Church on Thursday evening, July the 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. and Rosary services at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the church on Friday, July the 6 at 10 a.m. with Monsignor Francis Malone as Celebrant.
