Barbara Ann Demmin

Barbara Ann Demmin, 69, of Sherwood, born March 21, 1943 in Little Rock to father, Lloyd Millwood, and mother, Jewell Opal Millwood, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Barbara graduated from North Little Rock High School. She was retired from Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She was currently employed with Arkansas Children's Hospital. Mimi's favorite times were spent with her family at the beach. Her life revolved around her grandchildren and their activities. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Millwood. Barbara is survived by her mother, Jewell Opal Millwood, and her daughters, Shana Meyer (Michael Meyer) and Stephanie Burrows (Larry Burrows Jr.). She is survived by her grandchildren, Mitchell and Mallory Meyer and Kinley and Clay Burrows. She is also survived by her sister Sandra Steinert, and nieces Sheli Steinert and Candace Steinert. Visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Faith Baptist Church, 109 Tanglewood Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral Service will follow at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Faith Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the "Heart Center Family Fund" in memory of Barbara Demmin-Arkansas Children's Hospital Attn: Laura Weyrens #1 Children's Way, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
