Isaiah Tayborn

DEACON ISAIAH TAYBORN passed away peacefully Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 7 p.m. He is survived by: his wife of 56 years, Joann Tayborn; 5 children, Bruce Tayborn, Larry Tayborn, Linda Williams (James), Gerald Tayborn (Juanita) and Vincent Tayborn (Rita); seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mary Wilson, North Little Rock, Carmelita Miles-Johnson and Leigh Steward of Chicago, Ill; and a host of relatives. Deacon Tayborn was a faithful member of the Eastern Star Baptist Church where he was a teacher of the Word and BTU director for over 45 years. Family Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. His Home going Services will be held this Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10 a.m.. Both services will be held at The Eastern Star Baptist Church, 2700 East Second St., North Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark.
