Lyman C Farrand

Lyman C. Farrand, of Cabot was born May 23, 1923 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Lyman E. and Mabel Harper Farrand. He went to his eternal rest on June 28, 2012. Lyman is survived by a sister, Anita McClendon, a nephew, Michael McClendon and a niece, Janis Merritt. Also surviving are a great-niece, Jennifer Abbott and three great-nephews, Scott and Mike Merritt and Aaron McClendon. He enlisted in the Army at age 19 and served in Europe for the duration of World War II. He worked for the 3M Company in St. Paul and also the Railway Express Co. there. He was a member of Macalester Presbyterian Church in St. Paul. He lived the last few years of his life in the Arkansas Veteran's Home in Little Rock. The funeral was a graveside service at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock on July 2, 2012, with military honors.
