Dorothy Johnson Cypert

Sister Dorothy Jean Johnson Cypert of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 14, 1934 in Vilonia, Arkansas the daughter of the late Earl W. And Rosie Lee Heslep Johnson. She was a member of New Life Fellowship Church in Sheridan. She loved to read, sew, and cook for her family and her church family as well. She was a loving, devoted and caring Pastor's wife for many years and will be missed by all who knew her. She truly had a servant's heart. Bro. Tommy lovingly referred to her as his "buddy." Sis. Dorothy died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 78. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Survivors: Husband of 60 Years; Rev. Thomas C. Cypert, Jr. Of Sheridan; sons, Steve and wife Kelli Cypert of Sheridan; Jonathan and wife Karen Cypert of Sheridan; daughters, Janet and husband Wesley Emerson of Sheridan, Beverly and husband Bill Baldridge of Searcy; Carla and husband Steve Hollis of Sheridan; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at New Life Fellowship Church in Sheridan with her sons, Bro. Steve Cypert and Bro. Jonathan Cypert officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery with her son-in-law, Bro. Bill Baldridge officiating. Visitation will also be Thursday, from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
