Herbert Edward "H.E." Roberts

Herbert Edward "H.E." Roberts, 83, of Alexander, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2012. He was born April 14, 1929 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Herbert Roberts and Bessie Katherine Rusher Roberts. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired welder. Herbert was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict from 1948-1952. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Doris Coston. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Roberts of Alexander; daughters, Mary Frances Hoffman and husband, Jerry of Bella Vista; Katherine Louise and husband, Ross May of Alexander; grandchildren, Chris Withem and Jennifer Roe both of North Little Rock; three great grandchildren; sisters, Katherine Priest of Jacksonville and Betty Kimzey of Magnet Cove, Arkansas; and brother, Johnny Roberts of Denton, Texas. Graveside services will be held 9 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Brother Jim Kimzey officiating.
