Rex Mitchell Sutton, Sr. of Conway, 85, passed away July 2, 2012. He was born on January 29, 1927 to the late Simon Mitchell Sutton and Clarice V. Nabors Sutton of Little Rock. Mr. Sutton served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and worked for the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Sutton was a devout Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Hutchinson Sutton. Mr. Sutton is survived by his loving family; his daughter, Marilynn A. Nabholz and her husband Dan of Conway; his son, Rex M. Sutton, Jr. and his wife Tamara B. of Nashville, Tennessee; and granddaughter Kristen L. Hendricks of Houston, Texas. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel of Conway, (501) 327-7727. nterment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bible Baptist Church of Conway, where Mr. Sutton was a member.
