Leroy Walls

Leroy Walls, 84, of Jacksonville, passed away June 30, 2012. Leroy was born April 30, 1928 in Corning, Ark., son of the late Archie and Goldie Walls of Pocahontas. He was preceded in death by his wife Cona Stockwell Walls. He is survived by nine children, Eva Horne, Linda Cook, Debbie Finkbeiner, Jeanette Haydon, Thomas (Bud) Walls, Marsha Randle, Darrell Walls, Cynthia Parker, Brenda Bush, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many other loved ones. He was a loving husband, dad, and papaw and the center of this family. He served the Army-Air Corps. in the Korean War. He was an electrician at Maybelline when he retired. Funeral service 12 p.m., Monday, July 9, at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas. Burial at Shiloh Cemetery.
