Mary Evielene Freeman Baker

Mary Evielene "Freeman" Baker, of Alexander was born September 1, 1924 in Sparkman, Arkansas to Bennett and Martha Freeman. Mom went to hug the Lord on July 4, 2012. Mary was a member of Park Place Baptist Church. For 67 years she was a prayer warrior for the Freeman and Baker families and will be dearly missed. To her lifetime friends, she always had love and a prayer for them. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings; her parents; two great-grandchildren and her husband of 47 years, Loyd H. Baker. She is survived by Loyd Jr. (Linda), Jackie (Donna), Roy (Linda), Becky Lattin (Leslie), Reece, Larry (Cheryl) and Mikey (Regina); nineteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law on the Baker side; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday at Roller Drummond Southwest. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
