Crystelle Petray

Crystelle Petray, age 89, of Malvern, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born December 4, 1922 in Arkansas to the late Fred and Idelle Finley. Crystelle was a full-time homemaker, but was very active in the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She served as an election official for many years and was once President of Malvern PTA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil; and her youngest son, Allen. She is survived by her oldest son, Philip; three grandchildren: Christy Lea Petray from Austin, Texas, John (Adrienne) Petray from Hickory Plains, Ark. and Brad Petray from Fayetteville, Ark.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Owen officiating. Interment follows at Harp Cemetery under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Atkinson Funeral Home. Guests may register at www.atkinsonfuneralhome.net.
