Blanche Bibb

Monette- Blanche Bibb, 80, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at her home. She was born on December 5, 1931 at Manila to the late Reed and Ora Threlkeld. Mrs. Blanche was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church in Monette. She enjoyed sewing, upholstery, floral work, cake decorating and antiques. She loved her family and spending time with them. She will be remembered for her grace and her loving smile. She is survived by her two sons, Rodney Lloyd Bibb of Little Rock and Roger Threlkeld Bibb of Monette; three sisters, Viola Byrd of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Melva Pritchett and Ruby Wilcox both of Piggott; a brother, Joseph Reed Threlkeld of Malden, Missouri; three granddaughters, Brittney Nashae Lemmons, Jordan Ashley Elizabeth Bibb and Katie Leeann Bibb all of Monette; three great-grandchildren, Ashton Allen Lemmons, Allyssa Blaire Lemmons and Tripp Rush Lemmons; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Bibb in 2006; a sister, Virginia Robertson. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Gregg Funeral Home with Rev. Ernest Cornish and Joseph Threlkeld officiating. Burial will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Gregg Funeral Home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Stephen Pendergrass, James Pendergrass, Glenn McMinn, Roger Bibb, Billy Wilcox, Joseph Threlkeld and Danny Pritchett.
