Ida Carolyn Raney

Ida Carolyn Raney, age 76, of Conway, was born to Alvin Walters and Ida Maude Raney on July 7, 1936, in Saline County. She is survived by one sister, Ms. Linda Sheridan of Benton, Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church and of Round Mountain Community Church, both in Conway, Arkansas. She was a retired librarian (36 years) of Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas. She was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, Gamma Conclave. A memorial service will be held at the Congo Methodist Church, Benton, Arkansas, at 10:30 a.m. on July 29, 2012.
