Allan Lee Embrey

Allan Lee Embrey age 68 of Sherwood passed away Monday, July 9, 2012. He was born September 16, 1943 in Bollivar, Missouri to the late William Lee Embrey and Ruby Maxine Embrey. He was preceded in death by his brother Gene Embrey, and his son Matt Embrey. Mr. Embrey was a United States Air Force Veteran and a retired Train Master. He is survived by his daughters Sherry Sack and her husband David, Serena Proctor and her husband Michael, one sister Joan Lindeman, and his grandchildren; C.J., Jared, Jessica , and Madeline Sack, Rachael, Aaron, and Veronica Embrey, and Dominic Proctor. He is also survived by his special friend and companion Olga Quintero. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
