Janice Livingston Brown, born May 4, 1934 at New Edinburg, Arkansas, passed away at home Tuesday July 10, 2012. Janice loved to socialize with her family and friends, she entertained them often. She owned her own dress shop for 12 years in North Little Rock, and worked and managed other shops most of her working life. She was a very kind and loving person to all who knew her, they loved her as well. She was very much loved by her son and husband and she loved them too. "Of all the people I have known in my lifetime, Jan is only one of two people that for me fit the profile of Proverbs 31-10-31. So long for now, see you soon, Jim." Janice was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie Livingston; three brothers, John, AD and Jack; two sisters, Irene Lindsey and Theda Childress and her son Larry R. Brown. She is survived by her husband, Jim Brown; a sister, Anita Livingston; nieces, Judy Kirkley and Lois Livingston; nephews, Gene Lindsey, Ron Marks, Jerry Marks, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas with Brother Carl Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
