Saturday July 14, 2012 at 9:30 a.m., John Cornelius Dyson Jr. from North Little Rock, Ark. lost his fight for life and went home to be with our Lord. John is survived by his wife of 41 years Pat Dyson and five children and six grandchildren: John Craig Dyson and his wife Kelly. their children Craig and Katie of Collierville, Tenn., Chad Dyson and wife Donna, their children Abby, Audrey, and Olivia of Edina, Minn., Melissa Zadoorian and husband, Artin of Conway, Ark., Wesley Dyson and wife Maegan, their son Asher of Conway, Ark. and Ben Dyson of Fayetteville, Ark. and one sister Louann Ford of Ward, Ark. John was born Dec. 14, 1942 to J.C. and Annie Marie Dyson who precedes him in death along with one son Brian Dyson. John was proud to serve in the Arkansas National Guard, he loved working along with his dad in the family concrete business. John received his apprenticeship for Operative Plasterers' and Cement Masons in December 1951. He enjoyed growing a garden every year. John was blessed with many talents he played the coronet in the legion band with his dad, sang in the church choir, could build anything out of wood as well as wood crafts. He watched the cooking channel and then cooked the meal. Spending time with his children and family adventures included, taking them camping, teaching them how to fish, or hauling his kids and horses all over the state to horse shows. He really loved watching his boys and grandson play sports, especially football; he will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with Pastor Paul Hudson officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012.
