Michael (Mike) Brikha

Michael (Mike) Brikha departed this life on July 13, 2012, at the age of 74 years. He was born on Oct. 3, 1937 to Iwaz and Mary Brikha in Beruit, Lebanon. Mike has one brother, John, and two sisters, Margaret and Terese. He was a retired diesel mechanic. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Leila Khamou Brikha; three sons, Tony Brikha, Robert Brikha, and Andy Brikha and wife Odette Brikha; one daughter, Kay Brikha Farah and husband Maroun; one granddaughter Julianna Farah; six brothers-in-law, Sam Khamou, Johnny Khamou, Phillip Khamou, Joseph Khamou, George Khamou, and Simon Khamou; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mike is preceded in death by his parents an infant son, Paul; two sisters Janette and Lucy and one brother George; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Shimon and Herminah Khamou. Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012. Mass will be at St. Theresa's Catholic Church located at 6219 Baseline Rd., Little Rock, Ark.; at noon Tuesday, July 17, 2012, with burial following at Holy Cross Garden in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Bishop Mar Aprim Khamis, Deacon Manuel Babaian from Phoenix, Ariz., and Father Mark of St. Therese's will be officiating the services.
