Lonnie Bailey Murphy

Lonnie Bailey Murphy, 72, of Dennard, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012. He was born May 22, 1940 in Roe, Arkansas, the son of the late Jim and Mamie Murphy. He was self-employed the majority of his life, more than thirty-seven years, in the heating and air conditioning business. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and sweetheart, Patricia Ann Murphy; brothers, Quincy, Pete, Jerry, and Jimmy Murphy; sister, Lois London. He is survived by him and his late wife's son, L.T. Murphy of Dennard, Arkansas; three daughters by his first wife; brother, Chester Wade Murphy of Brazoria, Texas; ; sister, Mary Nell London of Casscoe, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren, one grandchild on the way along with several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Heber Springs Funeral Home, 1199 Wilburn Road, Heber Springs (501-887-9152). Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2012 in the Heber Springs Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Don Pettit officiating. Interment will follow in the Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.
