J.C. Stracener, 81, of England, went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2012. He was born on November 21, 1930 to the late Jasper and Thelma Stracener. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol June Stracener and a brother Tommy Stracener. He was a faithful member of the Countyline Missionary Baptist Church of England for many years where he served as a Deacon. J.C. loved his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and was always willing to share his faith to anyone willing to listen. He was a parts salesman for Dean Henderson Equipment Company and for Paul Godsey Ford. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family very much. He liked to work in his yard and at one time had one of the most beautiful yards in England. He also liked to trade baseball cards, collect toy tractors and work with his model train setup. He was also a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Doylene Stracener of England, son Randy Stracener of England, and daughter Brenda Guinee (Mark) of Little Rock. Also two grandkids, Phillip and Thomas Guinee. Also survived by two sisters Ruby Shaw of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Wanda Whiting of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends that knew and loved him. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on July 20, 2012 at Countyline Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 19th at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery.
