Hunter Gaines Williamson, 24, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, July 20, 2012. Hunter was born in Pine Bluff March 17, 1988, the son of S. Gaines and Bonnie Taylor Williamson of Pine Bluff. He was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff at Trinity Episcopal School, St. Joseph School, and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 2006. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2012. He is described by his family and friends as affable and caring. He loved his friends and made friends easily. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was proud of his family, the family business he had just entered, and its history. He joined his family business, the C. H. Triplett Company in June of 2012 as a land manager. Prior to officially joining the company, he worked as an intern there with his father. Hunter was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. His survivors include his parents; one sister, Taylor Catherine Williamson of Springdale, Ark.; grandfather, C. S. Williamson Jr. of Pine Bluff; grandmother, Peggy Finch Taylor of Pine Bluff; aunts and uncles, Susan Williamson of Little Rock, Ark., Cathy Freeman (Dewey) of Little Rock, Scott Taylor (Mary) of Little Rock, Greg Taylor (Tina) of Pine Bluff, and Rebekah Stewart (Jimmy) of Little Rock; and his girlfriend, Jane Roddy of Little Rock. His paternal grandmother, Catherine Hunter Williamson, and maternal grandfather, Frank B. Taylor, died before him. His funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, July 23, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Church. Interment follows in Bellwood Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son. His vigil service will be held Sunday, June 22 at 6 p.m. in Robinson's Chapel.
